Mid-August is the time when herbaceous hibiscus plants bloom in my garden. Their ground part completely dies off for the winter, so they manage to grow and bloom only closer to autumn. The flowers are huge and very bright. I am also looking forward to another variety, the Queen of the Night, to bloom.
