Greetings friends who love threads and needles, I wish you are enjoying good health and have a blessed and productive week, these days I have been very active finishing my son's sewing projects, and some very special ones for my nephew Aaron who was born in December, this time I made him two teat holders with fabric and wadding, the wadding helps to keep the water warm for several hours, they are ideal for outings with the baby and keep the food "warm" for longer, you can also carry the water bottles in them, they are very practical and can be washed.
It is the first time I do this type of project, I used teapot holders with my son and they are very useful when going out and carrying water, juice and food for children, the process is simple and requires few materials.
Saludos amigos amantes de los hilos y las agujas, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan una bendecida y productiva semana, en estos días he estado muy activa terminando los proyectos de costura de mi hijo, y unos muy especiales para mi sobrino Aarón que nació el mes de diciembre, en esta oportunidad le hice dos porta tetero con tela y guata, la guata ayuda a conservar el agua caliente por varias horas, son ideales para las salidas con el bebé´ y mantener el alimento "calentito" por más tiempo, también se pueden llevar en ellos los envases de agua, son muy prácticos y se pueden lavar.
Es la primera vez que hago este tipo de proyectos, usé porta teteros con mi hijo y son muy útiles al momento de salir y llevar el agua , jugo y alimento de los niños, el proceso de elaboración es sencillo y requiere pocos materiales

Enfrenté derecho con derecho la tela principal y cosí por el contorno dejando la parte superior sin costura, de esta forma cosí también el forro con la guata, cosiendo estas piezas noté que debí cortar la guata unos 3 cm mas pequeña que el resto de las piezas para no hacer el doblez superior muy grueso y evitar trabas en la máquina.

Cosidas las piezas, corté el exceso de guata, y a 6 cm de la parte superior puse el pasa cinta, sujeté con alfileres y pasé costura con puntada recta.

Para hacer el porta tetero cilíndrico, inicié pegando el círculo en uno de los extremos de la tela , hasta abarcar todo el contorno y formar la base luego cerré con costura lateral, de la misma forma cosí el forro con la guata.
I glued the ribbon pass-through in the same way as the teat holder number 1 and inserted the lining in the main fabric with their respective adjustments, I sewed a hem at the top, with the help of a pin I passed the ribbon and thus the teat holders are finished, to keep the baby's food while going for a walk with the family or a visit to the park.
Pegué el pasa cintas de la misma forma que el porta tetero número 1 e introduje el forro en la tela principal con sus respectivos ajustes, cosí un dobladillo en la parte superior , con ayuda de un alfiler pasé la cinta y así están terminados los porta teteros,para conservar los alimentos del bebé mientras sale de paseo con la familia o una visita al parque.
