El Soutache: It is a word that comes from French and literally means braid. A narrow, flat, simply decorative braid that concealed the seam on clothing and curtains. The Soutache technique was used since the middle of the 18th century in France in the decoration of costumes of the time and also military uniforms. The soutache lace is a herringbone or braid rayon lace whose purpose was to embellish dresses and suits with beautiful embroidery. Soutache embroidery consists of sewing the laces with invisible stitches and can hold beads of different types.

Love, courage and patience ... Step by step we will learn!
TIPS: Quemar las puntas de cada hilo con el encendedor te facilitara el trabajarlo.
STEP 1: Cut a piece of POP fabric 15 centimeters wide by 18 centimeters long, it is the same fabric used to make surgical gowns. Look for the center of it and we will glue our oval applique with a little liquid silicone, having glued it we must cut 6 threads of 25 centimeters each, smear a little liquid silicone around the oval applique now we are going to look for the center of the thread the most practical way is to bend it, put it tip to tip and proceed to glue it as I show you in image 5, in this same way to glue the other threads you can help yourself with a clamp that has the fine tips after gluing all the threads to fix that they are not left spaces or gaps between them take care not to dirty them with silicone for a better presentation and finish of the piece.
TIPS: Burning the tips of each thread with the lighter will make it easier for you to work it.
STEP 2: Step by step we are advancing in our piece calmly, on the right side of our piece smear liquid silicone, cut 9 strass stones or 4.5 centimeters long now next to the strass that glued we will put liquid silicone back as you will see in image 3 and with the help of the clamp organize and glue the threads, just where the strass ends place a little liquid silicone and with the help of the clamp place a golden nugget or the color of your choice, I use 6 mm gold laminated pellets, after sticking it, wrap the pellet with the threads as I show you in image 7, fold the threads inwards as you will see in image 8 mark the excess and cut them, with the help of the lighter burn the tips and with the help of the pliers insert the tips under the previously glued threads, do it with patience and you will see that it will be very good.
STEP 3: Repeat the previous step now on the left side of our piece the only thing that will be different is that this time the strass will be smaller it will only be 7 stones or 3.5 centimeters.
STEP 4: We have the central part ready now at the top place a little liquid silicone in the center where the threads are joined as you see in image 3 and there we will paste one of the drops small, put liquid silicone back around the appliqué and we will glue 6 threads around it as if wrapping the piece, you can do this with the remaining threads of the first piece, you can turn the piece over and so on the right side where the smallest strass was placed we will place liquid silicone and we are going to line that circle with the strass you can help you with the tweezers to avoid dirtying the piece and have a better finish.
STEP 5: As you will see we have advanced, in this stage place liquid silicone around the strass you glued in the previous step, cut 6 threads of approximately 8 centimeters long burn the ends with the lighter and with the help of the pliers, introduce the ends underneath the previously glued threads, as you will see in image 2, carefully cover all the strass previously glued with these threads when reaching the part that joins the center, place more liquid silicone and glue a laminated pellet of 6 millimeters now as you see in image 5 clothing the recently pasted pellet with the threads mark the surpluses cut and burn the tips, with the help of the tweezers introduce the tips below the newly glued threads, as shown in Image 7. It will look like Image 8
STEP 6: In the thread that we glued in the previous step we must place liquid silicone and glue a strass strip of 14 stones or 7.5 centimeters long, now we put liquid silicone back and cut 4 threads of approximately 8 centimeters burn the tips with the lighter and with the help of the pliers insert it under the threads glued in the previous step you can see in image 1 now glue the threads in order to the other end place a little liquid silicone and with the help of the clamp we will place a laminated pellet of 6 millimeters, wrap it with the thread, cut the excess thread that marks the ends with a lighter and with the help of the clamp introduce the threads below the other threads previously glued, now turn the piece towards you and place liquid silicone look at image 3 place liquid silicone we will glue the small drop piece and it will be lined with 6 threads of approximately 8 centimeters each help you with the tweezers is the most essential to avoid dirtying the piece, when you finish gluing this appliqué on the side you are going to place more liquid silicone see image 9 now we will glue the round applique, cut 4 threads of 8 centimeters each, burn the tips and with the help of the pliers insert the ends underneath the previously glued threads.
STEP 7: We continue placing strass below the small drops, they will be 14 stones or 7.5 centimeters long, after gluing we will smear liquid silicone again and glue 3 threads of 6 centimeters each to cover the strass, remember how we have done it in the previous steps, lift a bit of the paste previously and with the help of the pliers, insert the burned tips from the bottom as you will see in image 4, carry out this same process below the small drop. At the top we will glue our last round piece, when gluing it cut 4 threads of approximately 7 centimeters long and we will glue them lining or wrapping the applique, measure, cut the excess thread, burn the tips with the lighter and with the help of the pliers introduce below for a better finish of the piece, cut along the entire edge to remove the excess POP fabric, with the flame of the lighter we will pass it through the whole piece in this way we will seal the threads and give a bright touch to the threads.
STEP 8: This is the end place the piece on the leather or thick fabric and with a graphite pencil mark it and you are going to cut along all that edge that you marked now place the hook on the leather and mark it, cut where you marked place liquid silicone and paste the hook as I show you in image 8 now turn and paste the appliqué that we made you can do a little pressure to fix it well in this way we have finished the tutorial is long but in practice it is super simple, I will try to record the video and publish it for a better understanding, anyway I am open to any recommendation
