Greetings needle artists and supporters!

Welcome to @needleworkmonday’s Featured Posts #61!

This is a weekly curation showcasing the needlework of our very own Steemians. Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.

We strive to bring to you great quality work filled with tutorials and inspiration. Please help us keep these wonderful needle arts alive and thriving by supporting our creative work and community!

Thank you all for all the hard work you put into each project you shared! There so many beautiful posts this week and it makes it hard to choose, which is why we are featuring 5 projects this week!

🧵 Here are our featured projects 🧶

One cool thing about this community is that we share anything and everything related to needlework including amazing works of art, materials and artists we come across during our walks or visits to somewhere or even during our surfing for new patterns or ideas or it could also be someone we know personally. This is what @brittandjosie brings for us this week, a cool needle artist who does beautiful embroidery art pieces by layering the different thread or yarn colours that not only creates beautiful portraits but also gives texture to her pieces. Some of us may also remember the beautiful embroidery work that @brittandjosie did for her dress and this just adds on to the inspiration for us to pick up embroidery 😊.

October is a month dedicated to breast cancer awareness. @jurich60 participated in a Pink October activity in her community to crochet knockers or breast prosthesis for breast cancer survivors who have undergone a mastectomy. She shares with us the excitement on the day. What a wonderful initiative to help breast cancer survivors! I love the t-shirts they wore on that day too 😍.

NeedleworkMonday: Tutorial Knitting socks toe-up II / Socken von unten gestrickt II + Token-Tutorial (CCC) [Ger/Eng] by @muscara

@muscara is a champion when it comes to socks knitting and here, she shares the part II of her tutorial on how to knit socks toe-up. Even if you are still unsure on how to go about it, @muscara shares a link to the video that shows a tutorial to do this and it is also presented in slow motion. As an added bonus, @muscara also shares a tutorial on what we can do with the CreativeCoin (CCC) tokens that we have in our Steem-Engine (S-E) account when we use the creativecoin tag in our posts. Do not miss this informative post 🙂!

Male Chicken (Rooster) - easy handmade how to by @devyleona

@devyleona is back this week with a rooster crosstitch masterpiece, a gift for her grandma which she took more than 1 and a half months to work on and complete. Although crosstitch may seem easy but the amount of work that goes into it is admirable. @devyleona shares her project process in stitching this rooster to life (on a frame 😁)!

How to sew a coat while ruling the world by @neumannsalva

@neumannsalva sewed a coat. Yes, you read me right, @neumannsalva sewed a coat!! Another amazingly witty and funny post from @neumannsalva on her adventures in sewing her first ever coat (I think) which looks absolutely stunning and cozy on her! She also gave a short review of the pattern book that she followed and modeled the coat for us. She is indeed ruling the world 👑!

The embroidery is amazing. Thank you for sharing your work.

Oh that's really cool! I especially like the rooster one!

Holy cow I didn't know brittandjosie was so skilled with the needle, all 3 designs are just wow. Anyway I really like the rooster as it's suppose to bring good luck to the family, also a quick thanks to jurich60 for a good initiative to help breast cancer survivors.

This Monday was a great one for me on the learning front. I love @jurich60 Project for breast cancer survivors. I did not knew about this before and this is really amazing. Also the sock tutorial... thanks to @muscara (and with the support of all the other great needleworkers) I last year dared to knit socks myself which I always feared. Also a big thank you to @muscara for explaining about the new coins, I am still lost with all the renovations on steemit.
And last but not least: thank you for choosing my post 💕💕💕 I hugely appreciate all of your curation work and your support 🌈

Thank you for sharing your work with us :)

you're welcome. i enjoyed to share with you all @marblely.

It's time again for the SBI-share give-away. Only eight comments last week, two of them by bots - well, higher probability for those that commented. This week's winner is @shanibeer and the share will go to a home with lots of others of its kind ;)

Thanks to the other commenters - perhaps it's your turn next week? Comment on!

That's lovely, thank you very much :)
